The two-day special session of the Uttarakhand Legislative Assembly has begun. President Draupadi Murmu also attended the session. Upon arrival, the President was given a guard of honor. Governor Lieutenant General (Retired) Gurmeet Singh, Chief Minister Pushkar Singh Dhami, and the Assembly Speaker were present. All ministers and MLAs also reached the Assembly building.
President Murmu Attends Assembly Session
President Draupadi Murmu addressed the special session of the Legislative Assembly. The proceedings began with the national anthem. The Assembly Speaker expressed her gratitude to the President in the House. In view of the President’s visit, strict security arrangements have been made in the Assembly premises and surrounding areas. A zero zone has been declared around the Assembly building.
