Chief Secretary Anand Vardhan reviewed the progress of development works at tourist destinations across the state at the Secretariat on Friday. The Chief Secretary received detailed information on the progress of development works at Jageshwar Dham, Mahasu Devta, Jadung, Mana, and Niti Timarsain.
The Chief Secretary instructed the officials to continuously monitor the projects to ensure their completion within the stipulated time. He directed that a PERT chart be prepared for all projects, outlining the start date and completion date at each stage of the work.
The Chief Secretary emphasized the need to expedite the land transfer and acquisition processes. He stated that if increasing the number of workers is necessary to complete the construction of the new pedestrian bridge at Kainchi Dham and the festival ground at Jadung on time, then the workforce should be increased accordingly.
Secretary Dhiraj Singh Garbyal, District Magistrate Dehradun Savin Bansal, Additional Secretary Abhishek Ruhela, and other senior officials were present on the occasion.
