Fifteen senior IPS officers have been transferred in Uttarakhand, and IPS Tripti Bhatt has been given the responsibility of Additional Secretary Home

The Uttarakhand government issued a major list of transfers of IPS (Indian Police Service) officers late Thursday evening, December 12. A total of 15 officers have been given new responsibilities. This reshuffle also included the position of Additional Secretary Home in the government. IPS Tripti Bhatt has been given this important responsibility and has been appointed as Additional Secretary Home.
Discussions about the transfer of IPS officers had been ongoing in Uttarakhand for several days. Finally, putting an end to these discussions, the Home Department issued an order on Thursday transferring 15 IPS officers.
According to the order, Tripti Bhatt has been given an important responsibility in the Home Department. IPS Nivedita Kukreti was already working as Additional Secretary in the government. Now, Tripti Bhatt will also share this responsibility with Nivedita Kukreti as Additional Secretary Home Department. Three officers are now appointed to the post of Additional Secretary Home in the government, including two IPS officers. In addition, Tripti Bhatt will also look after the responsibility as Superintendent of Police in the Fire Service.
Several other officers have also been given important positions
- IPS Vimmi Sachdeva has been relieved of the responsibility of Inspector General of Police Headquarters.
- Neeru Garg has been removed from the responsibility of PAC/ATC and given the responsibility of Inspector General of Police Fire Service.
- IPS Krishna Kumar VK has been relieved of the responsibility of Inspector General of Police CID.
- Mukhtar Mohsin has been relieved of the responsibility of Inspector General of Police Fire Service and given the responsibility of GRP.
- Karan Singh Nagnyal has been given the additional responsibility of Inspector General of Police Prisons.
- IPS Arun Mohan Joshi has been given the responsibility of Inspector General of Police CID. He has been removed from the post of Inspector General of Police SDRF.
- IPS Nilesh Anand Bharne has been given the additional responsibility of Director General of Police PAC.
- IPS Sunil Kumar Meena has been relieved of the responsibility of Inspector General of Police GRP.
Yogendra Singh Rawat has been appointed Inspector General of Police Headquarters. - Yogendra Singh Yadav is already looking after the responsibility of Inspector General of Police Personnel. Nivedita Kukreti, who was handling the responsibilities of Additional Secretary Home in the government, has now been appointed as Deputy Inspector General of Police, SDRF.
- Yashwant Singh has been given the responsibility of Commandant, IRB First, Ramnagar.
- Meanwhile, Ramchandra Rajguru has been transferred to Police Headquarters as Superintendent of Police.
- IPS Sarita Dobhal has been given the additional charge of Superintendent of Police, ATS.
- Harish Verma has been transferred as Commandant, 40th Battalion PAC, Haridwar.
