Uttarakhand: The government will reach every household; 23 departments will be available at a single location, and people will receive the benefits of various schemes

b
The Uttarakhand government and the central government run several schemes for the people of the state, covering areas such as health, education, employment, financial assistance, and social security. However, due to a lack of awareness, these schemes do not reach the people. People even have to make repeated trips to courts and government offices to obtain essential documents like ration cards, PAN cards, and pension schemes. But now, the Uttarakhand government is bringing the solutions to these problems right to your doorstep. Under this scheme, which started today, December 17th, people will be able to get information about various government facilities and also avail themselves of the benefits.
Birth, Pension, and Death Certificates will all be issued: In Uttarakhand, the state government has launched the ‘Government for the People, at the People’s Doorstep’ campaign in all districts today. To avail of the benefits of this scheme, you can contact your elected representative, including councilors, village heads, MLAs, or other officials. Importantly, officials and employees from not just one or two, but 23 departments will be present in every tehsil and village to inform the public about how to benefit from government schemes. SDMs, Tehsildars, and other officials and employees will be present. Special attention is being paid to ensure that this campaign proves effective in the rural areas of Uttarakhand. Employees and officers from departments ranging from Panchayati Raj to Agriculture and Social Welfare, as well as the Revenue Department, will set up camps in villages, towns, and tehsils.
What the Chief Secretary said:
The government wants the schemes of key departments to reach the common people directly. For this purpose, camps have been set up at various locations in all districts. These camps have started today. There are still many people in the state who are either unaware of the schemes or are unable to avail of their benefits. These camps will be held three days a week, and for the next 45 days, these departments will visit villages to address and resolve problems. – Anand Vardhan, Chief Secretary
Assistance for the Illiterate too: Through these camps, any person will be able to get information about and resolve issues related to electricity and water bills, pensions, Aadhaar cards, ration cards, and any revenue-related problems. Solutions will be provided on the spot. According to information from the Chief Minister’s office, these camps will be particularly effective in disaster-affected areas. Officials arriving at the camps will ensure that if a person is illiterate, they will personally assist them throughout the entire process, from filling out forms to completing all necessary procedures. Nyaya Panchayats (village-level judicial bodies) will also be set up at various locations. Through these Nyaya Panchayats, any legal problems or issues related to the Panchayati Raj system will be heard and resolved immediately.
BJP organization also takes responsibility: Before the 2017 elections, the BJP wanted to engage in direct dialogue with the public through this campaign. This is why the BJP has assigned duties to all its office bearers under this campaign. MLAs, village heads, and other elected representatives have also been included in this plan.
In this campaign, which will be conducted in 970 Nyaya Panchayats, all ministers, MLAs, and office bearers have been assigned responsibilities. They have all been instructed to maintain direct communication with the public in their respective areas for the duration of these camps. Different BJP leaders have been given responsibilities in the Garhwal and Kumaon regions. – Mahendra Bhatt, BJP President, Uttarakhand
