A major accident was narrowly averted in Dehradun on Thursday. A smart bus caught fire suddenly on the Shimla bypass near ISBT. Panic ensued at the scene as flames engulfed the bus.

The incident occurred on Thursday. Around 11:30 AM, a smart bus full of passengers caught fire. Seeing the flames, there was chaos and panic at the scene. Passengers managed to escape the bus and save their lives.
Fire brought under control
It is reported that there were 40 passengers on the bus at the time of the incident. Fortunately, there was no loss of life or property. Upon receiving the information, a team of firefighters arrived at the scene and brought the fire under control.
