The new year is going to be special for Uttarakhand. The people of the state are going to receive new joys. 12,856 families in Uttarakhand are going to get their dream homes.

This initiative by the Uttarakhand Housing and Urban Development Authority (UDA) is in its final stages. The target is to complete it by December 31st. The 15 residential projects will be handed over to the beneficiaries upon completion.

In fact, the construction of 15 residential projects in Uttarakhand under the Pradhan Mantri Awas Yojana (Urban) is in its final stages. Chief Minister Dhami, who also holds the portfolio of the relevant department, is continuously monitoring the projects. It is believed that all the projects will be completed by December 31st.

It is worth mentioning that nine projects will be completed at the beginning of the year. Principal Secretary Housing, R. Meenakshi Sundaram, has also issued instructions regarding the allocation of the houses. The allocation of the projects has already been done through a lottery system. The process of handing over possession will be started soon. The allocation will be done through the local authority.
