Uttarakhand: The Chief Secretary reviewed the ITDA and instructed all departments to prepare for the creation of websites and mobile applications

Chief Secretary Anand Bardhan reviewed the Information Technology Development Agency (ITDA) at the Secretariat on Thursday. The Chief Secretary directed that ITDA will function as a single-window agency for all services provided to departments related to information technology.
The Chief Secretary stated that ITDA is responsible for developing websites and applications for all departments. He emphasized that ITDA needs to enhance its capabilities to fulfill this responsibility and directed that State Data Center 2.0 be made operational soon.
The Chief Secretary also directed that budgetary provisions be made to strengthen ITDA. He instructed ITDA to ensure that the systems are in place to meet the requirements of the departments for the next 5-10 years.
The Chief Secretary further directed ITDA to prepare Standard Operating Procedures (SOPs) for the development and operation of departmental websites and applications.
On this occasion, Secretary Shailesh Bagoli, Nitesh Kumar Jha, and Dilip Jawalkar, along with senior officers from various departments, were present.
