Police Constable’s Son Commits Suicide
The incident took place on Saturday. 22-year-old Swapnil committed suicide in his room in Sevla Kala, Chandrabani. The deceased’s father is a constable posted in Tehri. It is being reported that Swapnil was preparing for the JE competitive examination. When the deceased’s family members saw their son hanging from a noose inside the house, they were devastated.
Alleged Reason Behind the Suicide: A Love Affair
Upon receiving the information, the Patel Nagar police station team reached the spot. The police took the deceased’s body into custody and sent it for post-mortem examination. Prima facie, the reason behind the suicide is believed to be a love affair. The police have started an investigation into the matter.
