Auli is expected to see a surge in tourists for Christmas and New Year celebrations. The way tourists are booking hotels here suggests that a large number of visitors will arrive.

The Garhwal Mandal Vikas Nigam (GMVN) guest houses in Auli are already fully booked. Bookings at GMVN properties are confirmed from December 23rd to January 3rd. The corporation has a ski resort, Nanda Devi, and Cloud Inn guest houses here, with a combined capacity of approximately 300 tourists. Tourists have also started booking GMVN guest houses in Jyotirmath.

Meanwhile, there are also many private hotels in Auli, and they have already received bookings for about 60 percent of their capacity. GMVN and private hotels in Auli have a combined capacity to accommodate more than a thousand people. There are also huts and tents available. Additionally, there are numerous hotels below Auli, near Sunil and the TV tower, so a large number of tourists are expected to arrive.

More than 60 percent of the hotels in Auli are already booked. The booking graph is increasing every day. If it snows, all the hotels will be full in no time. Various arrangements have been made in the hotels for the New Year celebrations.

Tourists start arriving in Auli

The crowd of tourists in Auli has started increasing. Although there has been no snowfall yet, a large number of tourists are arriving. On Sunday, due to the weekend, there was a continuous influx of tourists in Auli from the morning. However, tourists seemed disappointed due to the lack of snow. Many tourists are also reaching Gorson, but there is no snow there either. Tourists are enjoying horse riding and the chairlift in Auli. Anushka from Bengaluru and Saurabh from Haryana said that this is their first time in Auli and the natural beauty here is very captivating. It would have been even more enjoyable if there had been snow. Since the weather has changed, there is still hope for snowfall.
