BJP MLA accused of land grabbing by a woman
A 68-year-old woman from Bichpuri village in Bajpur tehsil has submitted a petition to the Sub-Divisional Magistrate, leveling serious allegations against BJP MLA Arvind Pandey and others regarding a land lease dispute. The woman claims that Arvind Pandey, along with others, encroached on her land and constructed buildings on it, violating the terms of the lease agreement. She also alleges that she was threatened when she protested. The woman has appealed to Chief Minister Dhami for help in a video.
MLA calls the allegations baseless
On the other hand, BJP MLA Arvind Pandey has termed all the allegations against him as baseless and demanded a CBI inquiry into the entire matter. Pandey has requested the government to conduct an investigation into whatever the woman is demanding from the government. He himself is appealing to the government for this.
