The first sports and cultural festival, organized by the Thauldhar Cultural Development Committee in Kandisaur, Tehri, has concluded. Chief Minister Pushkar Singh Dhami attended the closing ceremony. He inspected the stalls and awarded the winners of various competitions. He also accused the people protesting over the Ankita case of spreading instability in the state.
In his address at the first sports and cultural festival, CM Dhami stated that the government, under the leadership of Prime Minister Narendra Modi, is continuously striving for the development of Uttarakhand. The government is also working to crack down on all types of jihadists. Forces that defame Sanatan Dharma, disguised as saints, are being identified and sent back to their places through Operation Kalanemi. This will prevent the state’s atmosphere from deteriorating.
CM Dhami stated that he is continuously working towards the development and fostering brotherhood among people of all religions and classes in the state. Today, under PM Modi’s leadership, cultural heritage is being revived. Those who were previously afraid to worship are now walking around wearing sacred threads. Soon, illegal madrasas operating within the state will be abolished.
He said that the government is working towards tourism. A policy is being implemented to provide employment to the people here by specifically promoting tourism around New Tehri at a cost of ₹1300 crore. Uttarakhand has ranked first among states in increasing farmers’ income.
Toolkits are active in the state, opposing the government’s work: CM Dhami said that toolkits are active in the state, which are continuously opposing the government’s work. Regarding the Ankita Bhandari case, he said that some people are playing politics in Ankita’s name, but the government has stood with Ankita Bhandari’s family from the beginning.
On the very first day, an SIT was formed under the supervision of a female IPS officer and the investigation was initiated.
