Pakistan is not giving up its nefarious activities. Once again, an incident has come to light where a drone was sent from the Pakistani side across the Line of Control (LoC) into Indian territory.

Army takes action after spotting the drone
The latest incident occurred in the Doonga Gala area of the Keri sector in Rajouri district, where a drone was flown from across the LoC into Indian territory by the Pakistani army late Tuesday evening. Alert Indian Army personnel immediately took action upon spotting the drone entering their territory and fired at it to bring it down.

Regular surveillance continues at posts
According to reports, army personnel were conducting regular surveillance at forward posts on Tuesday evening. During this time, a suspicious drone was spotted and heard above the Doonga Gala area. As soon as the soldiers confirmed that the drone had crossed the LoC and was moving towards Indian territory, an alert was issued immediately, and firing began, targeting the drone. After the army’s firing, the drone crossed back over the LoC.

Intensive search operation in hilly areas
Despite the drone’s return, security agencies are taking no chances. It is suspected that the drone may have been used to drop weapons, ammunition, narcotics, or communication equipment. Keeping this in mind, army personnel have cordoned off the entire area and launched a search operation.

An intensive search operation is being conducted in the rugged and hilly terrain to recover any suspicious material that may have been dropped by the drone.

Additional troops deployed in the area
According to security sources, the search operation is currently underway, and additional troops have been deployed in the area. Security arrangements along the LoC have been further tightened following the drone activity. The army is keeping a close watch on the area with the help of night vision devices, thermal imagers, and other modern surveillance equipment.

Drone spotted before
However, this is not the first time that drones have been sent by the Pakistani army. Earlier on Sunday, the Pakistani army had also attempted to send a drone into Indian territory. Even then, alert Indian soldiers fired at the drone to bring it down, although the drone managed to escape.

These repeated incidents clearly show that Pakistan is not giving up its attempts to create unrest on the border and test India’s security system.

Action against terrorist activities
Drones can be used to facilitate the infiltration of terrorists, supply weapons, or conduct reconnaissance of border areas. For this reason, every suspicious activity is being taken seriously, and immediate action is being taken. The soldiers deployed on the border are fully alert, and no nefarious intentions will be allowed to succeed.

Atmosphere of fear among local residents
Concern is also being observed among the local population regarding the drone incidents. However, the army and administration have appealed to the people not to pay attention to rumors and to cooperate with the security forces. Citizens living in border areas have also been asked to remain vigilant and report any suspicious object or activity immediately to the nearest security post.

In view of the continuous drone activities, vigilance has been further increased along the Line of Control (LoC). The Indian Army has made it clear that any attempt to infiltrate or compromise security on the border will be met with a befitting response.
