Russia-Ukraine War: Russia rained shells, drones and missiles in Kiev again, killing three people; 10 others injured

Russia once again launched a major airstrike on Ukraine’s capital Kiev on Thursday night. A child and two women were killed and 10 people were injured in an attack by 17 suicide drones and missiles. An apartment, a medical clinic, a water pipeline and some other properties were damaged in the attack.

Russia attacks with ballistic missiles

The Ukrainian military has reported that the damage occurred despite the ten missiles used in the attack being destroyed in the air. Russia used Iskander cruise and ballistic missiles in the latest attack. Meanwhile, the Russian military claimed to have killed 50 Ukrainian fighters and driven the rest away in an operation near the Belgorod border.

More than 18 attacks on Kiev in May

Russia had carried out more than 18 airstrikes on Kiev last May. There were only three attacks on Wednesday. Due to the possibility of attacks, sirens keep ringing in the capital every now and then to alert the citizens. Most of the drones and missiles coming for attack are being destroyed in the sky, but due to all this the normal life activities of the people have become completely chaotic.

The apprehensive people are not able to get enough sleep. Children, old people and sick people are getting more difficult. Ukrainian property is being damaged by drones and missiles hitting targets, as well as by burning debris falling on buildings and other properties that are being destroyed in the air.

Russian firing in Ukrainian villages

Apart from this, the Russian army has shelled the villages and towns situated on the banks of Nikopol and Dniper river. A drone was also reported to have hit a refinery in Krasnodar in the south of Russia, but Ukraine has not been blamed for that.
