Lawyer shot 16 bullets
According to the police, Abdul Razzaq Shar, a lawyer of the Pakistan Supreme Court, was killed in firing by unidentified assailants on Quetta’s Airport Road on Tuesday. He said that after being shot, the lawyer was immediately taken to Quetta Civil Hospital, but he died on the way. Ayesha Riaz, a surgeon at the Quetta Civil Hospital, told reporters that Shar was hit by 16 bullets in the attack.
Were going to Supreme Court, attacked on the way
Senior police officer Gul Muhammad said that three bike-borne assailants attacked the lawyer when he was going to the Supreme Court in his vehicle in connection with a case. He said that Shar was shot in the chest, neck and stomach, due to which he died. Special Assistant to the Prime Minister (SAPM) Attaullah Tarar condemned the killing. Also said that Shar had filed a petition in the Balochistan High Court (BHC) to prosecute opposition leader Khan under sedition. He alleged that he was murdered because of this.
