Uttar Pradesh: Calling yourself the District Judge, created pressure on the DM! Then DM’s call reached the real judge of Bijnor, know what happened then?

The Line Bazar police on Friday arrested two youths posing as district judges. Both were putting pressure on District Magistrate Anuj Kumar Jha regarding the settlement of the land related matter. It so happened that Saurabh Shukla, a resident of Godhana Makdumpur of Line Bazar area, and Shyam Srivastava, a resident of Salkhapur, claiming themselves to be District Judge Bijnor, messaged District Magistrate Anuj Kumar Jha on WhatsApp two days ago regarding the immediate disposal of the land related case.
After this, by calling repeatedly, they started pressurizing the matter to be resolved immediately. The District Magistrate said that on Friday morning also several calls were received. On doubting his words, I myself talked to the District Judge Bijnor and got information in this regard. He told that no phone call or message has been made by me.
After this, I immediately called the number from which the call was coming and asked who are you speaking, then he again said that I am speaking District Judge Bijnor. After this I called him to the office and after questioning handed him over to the police. Station in-charge Inspector Sanjay Verma said that both accepted their crime during interrogation. A case of forgery and cheating was registered and the accused were challaned.
