City Kotwal Vidya Bhushan Negi told that a woman resident of Saharanpur Chowk, Dehradun, while registering a case, told the police that she works in a shop and manages the household expenses. Husband Dinesh Mittal stays at home. He has a son studying in intermediate while his daughter studies in 10th standard. His daughter told three days ago that the father has been raping her since five-six years. When she was nine years old, he first called her to his room and raped her. It is alleged that father Dinesh Mittal used to threaten to kill the girl when she protested. According to the woman, the husband used to do this act with the girl in her absence. When the woman asked her husband about this, he started fighting. There was a big fight between the two and he ran away from the house in the evening. Kotwal said, the victim’s teenager has been medically examined, in which rape has been confirmed. The matter is being investigated by registering a case. A team has been set up in search of the accused. Magistrate statements of the girl and her mother were recorded. It is being told that earlier the accused used to do marketing work in a private company.
