Its investigation is going on in Paris. French news website Mediapart says that the magistrate looking into the investigation has sent a letter to the Indian authorities. In this, cooperation has been sought in the investigation of the case.

According to this report published before PM Modi’s visit to France, the French magistrate wants to study the files related to the investigation of this case in India. Let us tell you that Mediapart had published the news alleging the scam then. It was alleged that Dassault Aviation had secretly given millions of Euros to middlemen present in India.

The media part had leveled allegations of scam

Mediapart had alleged that French aviation company Dassault had given 7.5 million Euros to Indian middlemen (middlemen) so that the Government of India could confirm the Rafale deal. It has been said in the news that Indian investigative agencies had collected evidence of money transactions between Rafale jet maker Dassault and middleman Sushen Gupta in 2018. According to the news, the magistrate wants to see this alleged evidence.

However, both Dassault and the Government of India had said that nothing wrong was found in that deal. The matter had also reached the Supreme Court. But the applications for investigation were rejected by the court without finding anything wrong.

36 Rafale jets have arrived in India

According to Indian government sources, during PM Modi’s visit to France, there may be a deal between France and the Indian government to buy 26 Rafale fighter jets. This Rafale jet will be used by the Indian Navy. Earlier, India had bought 36 Rafale from France for the Airforce, all of which have come to India.

Apart from Rafale, the Indian Navy was also considering the US’s Super Hornet (Boeing) deal. Please tell that the Indian Navy currently needs 26 aircraft, which it wants to deploy on INS Vikrant. These new jets will replace the MiG-29s, which are being phased out gradually. If this deal is done, then the Navy hopes that India will get these jets of three years.
