On July 14, 2023, Harishchandra Vishwakarma was shot dead late at night while returning home after doing welding work in Dehri village of Adalhat police station area. His dead body was found lying on the side of the canal, soaked in blood.
When the villagers saw the dead body in the morning, they informed the police. The police engaged in the investigation of the murder case got an important success when the police interrogated the wife of the deceased, then the tangled knot of death was solved. According to the police, Rita Devi, the wife of the deceased Harishchandra, was coming home in an auto four months back. Fell in love with the driver Satish Singh during the conversation in the auto. After this both of them exchanged numbers. Started talking too. In the meantime, as the love increased further, both of them started meeting each other. Harishchandra came to know about their love affair, after which he stopped his wife from meeting her lover.
A plan was made to remove the husband who was becoming an obstacle in their love relationship forever. The entire conspiracy of the murder was hatched by the wife and the lover together. When Harishchandra had gone to do welding work in Katka, it was late in the night to reach there. Meanwhile, wife Rita Devi called him and asked the time to come, then he told the time. After this, she called the lover and told the time of her husband’s arrival. Lover Satish Singh was already ambushed along with another fellow Pardeshi Sahni.
When Harishchandra was returning home on a motorcycle at 2:30 in the night after doing welding work from Katka, both of them shot him in the neck from behind and killed him. After the murder, at five in the morning, the wife called her lover Satish Singh and asked about the completion of the work, then the lover replied that the work is done. Disclosing this case, the police arrested wife Rita Devi, lover Satish Singh and partner Pardeshi Sahni and sent them to jail. The police have also recovered the pistol used in the murder from them.
