Uttarakhand: Regarding the upcoming Lok Sabha elections, the training and evaluation program was completed in the presence of the Chief Electoral Officer

In the presence of Chief Electoral Officer Dr. V. Shanmugam, a two-day training and evaluation program for state-level master trainers in view of the forthcoming Lok Sabha General Elections 2024 was held at the Secretariat on Friday. In the programme, detailed training, question and discussion on Financial Expenditure Monitoring, EVM-VVPAT, ERO Net, IT Application, Postal Ballot, ETPBS, MCMC Paid News, Election Material and E-roll were done by expert trainers.
Addressing the program, Chief Electoral Officer Dr. V. Shanmugam said that the state level master trainer will have to extend the benefits of his training and experiences to all the officers and personnel associated with the election on the ground. In this direction, there is a need to work with team spirit with effective coordination. Voting percentage should be increased as much as possible by increasing public awareness among voters. He told the need to make voter awareness programs effective through SVEEP. He also emphasized on connecting the youth especially with this campaign.
In the training camp, Pratap Shah, Joint Chief Electoral Officer, Manmohan Mainali, Tanjim Ali, Finance Controller Election, Aslam, Mohd. Mustafa Khan, District Panchayat Raj Officer Tehri Garhwal, Manish Jugran, Technical Director State Information Unit, Secretariat, Ravi Bijarnia, Deputy Director Information and Mastu Das, Assistant Chief Electoral Officer, Uttarakhand participated.
