Uttar Pradesh / Bulandshahr: Mother-in-law did not send wife to in-laws’ house, son-in-law murdered her while sleeping
A son-in-law murdered his mother-in-law in Khurja Nagar Kotwali area of Bulandshahr in Uttar Pradesh. She committed this crime because she did not allow her daughter to go to her in-laws’ house. She used to keep it with herself in her parents’ house. Because of this, in anger he killed his mother-in-law with an ax while she was sleeping in her own house. Actually, Meena Devi (55 years), living in Kotwali area, was murdered on the night of 10 October while she was sleeping. The needle of suspicion was revolving around someone from the same house. But, the police was not finding any evidence. Meanwhile, when 25 CCTVs installed in the area under Operation Drishti were checked, the deceased’s son-in-law Bunty was seen near her house. The police interrogated him on this. Initially he kept misleading the police but after being forced to do so, he confessed to his crime.
Murderer’s confession
He told that his mother-in-law did not allow his wife to go to her in-laws’ house. Due to this there was trouble in the house. She constantly used to criticize in new ways. He was troubled by this. Therefore, on the night of October 10, he went home and killed Meena with an axe.
Statement of CO Bulandshahr
CO Bulandshahr Varun Kumar told that Meena did not allow her daughter to go to her in-laws’ house. Due to this, Bunty felt that this was the reason for her domestic troubles. For this reason he killed his mother-in-law.
