Six people were seriously injured when a firecracker bomb exploded in Maharajganj, Uttar Pradesh. The entire incident of bursting of firecracker (bomb) was captured in the CCTV camera installed nearby. Actually, near Nepal border, father and son were going to their home after buying firecrackers. During this time there was an explosion in which 6 people were injured. This incident happened in Kolhui near Nepal border. All the people injured by the firecracker bomb explosion were taken to the nearest hospital where everyone’s condition is out of danger. Now the police have registered a case against the businessman selling firecrackers and started investigation.

Father and son were going on bike after buying firecrackers

In fact, while carrying firecrackers on a bike in Maharajganj, there was a sudden explosion in the middle of the market in which apart from the father and son, four passers-by were injured. The explosion was so powerful that only smoke was visible at the spot. There was chaos on the spot.

After the smoke cleared, people nearby saw that 06 people were lying injured, about which the police was informed. Many speculations were being made after the explosion in the area adjacent to the border, after which the police immediately got involved in the investigation. When the police made it clear that the explosion was caused by a firecracker bomb, people heaved a sigh of relief.

Regarding the incident, it was told by the police that Sanjay Maurya and his son were buying firecracker bombs and taking them home for Diwali. The firecracker bomb kept in his bag suddenly exploded injuring many people.

Shopkeeper was selling firecrackers without license, case registered

When the police investigated, they found out that the injured father and son had bought firecrackers worth twenty-two hundred rupees from Kolhui resident and firecracker businessman Hariram Jaiswal. They neither have a permanent license nor a temporary license to sell firecrackers. Now a case has been registered against the shopkeeper and investigation is being done by the police.

The shopkeeper was selling last year’s crackers

Maharajganj SP Dr. Kaustubh said that Kolhui police received information at around 5 pm that when a father and son were traveling on a motorcycle, their firecracker suddenly exploded. When the police investigated, it was found that the firecracker shopkeeper did not have a license to sell it. He was selling last year’s left over crackers. A case has been registered against the shopkeeper and investigation is being done by the police.
