Why is Israel angry with India? Netanyahu himself gave such a statement

Recently a resolution was brought in the United Nations General Assembly regarding the war between Israel and Hamas in which it called for an immediate ceasefire by ending the hostilities between Israel and Hamas. India had distanced itself from this resolution due to which  Now Israeli Prime Minister Benjamin Netanyahu has commented on India’s stance. On Monday he said that no civilized country, including India, will tolerate such barbarity.

“The Israeli Prime Minister has described the resolution brought to the United Nations on October 27 as seriously flawed.

Criticizing the stance of friendly countries like India on the resolution, Netanyahu said, ‘I think there were too many flaws in that resolution, and I am saddened to see that many of our friends are also not insisting that Israel  Whatever happened there should have been strongly condemned.  This was something that no civilized country like India can tolerate… so I hope that such proposals will not be brought again.’

Netanyahu further said, ‘Just as the United States would not agree to a ceasefire after the bombing of Pearl Harbor or after the 9/11 terrorist attacks, Israel will also not agree to end hostilities with Hamas.  Would never agree to finish…’

Expressing strictness on the ceasefire, the Israeli Prime Minister said, ‘The call for ceasefire is a call for Israel to surrender to Hamas, to surrender to terrorism, to surrender to barbarism.  And it will never happen.  It is written in the Bible that there is a time of peace and there is also a time of war.  This is the time of war.

The words ‘Hamas’ and ‘hostage’ are not mentioned in the proposal

There was no mention of the Palestinian organization ‘Hamas’ and the words ‘hostage’ in the resolution presented in the United Nations General Assembly regarding the Israel-Hamas war.  120 votes were cast in favor of the proposal and 14 countries voted against it.  India had distanced itself from it.

Before this vote, Canada had asked that an amendment be made to the wording of the resolution and mention Hamas.  But Canada’s amendment proposal failed because it did not get the support of the required two-thirds of the members.  India was also in favor of amending the resolution and supported the mention of Hamas along with 86 other countries.

Hamas fighters attacked Israel on October 7, killing at least 1,400 people and taking about 200 hostages. In retaliation, Israel is launching a large-scale attack on Gaza city under the control of Hamas.  In which more than 8,300 people have died. Most of those who died include women and children.
