Due to this, normal life in Yemen has become derailed. Internet services in Yemen were completely disrupted without any explanation at midnight on Thursday. This has created an outcry among the common people. Due to internet shutdown, other online services including banking have also stopped. Emergency service phone numbers are also not working. Due to this people are facing huge difficulties.
An organization monitoring the website gave this information. It is being told that this internet service was stopped from midnight on Thursday and it affected Yemennet, which is now controlled by Yemen’s Iran-backed Houthi rebels. Both Netblock (a group that monitors Internet outages) and Internet service company Cloudflare have reported the Internet shutdown. However, both of them did not give information about the reason for this.
Yemen is in the grip of civil war
Yemen is currently in the deep grip of civil war. Due to this the situation here has become like hell. The peace and security of the people has been disturbed.
