PM is talking about hanging… Election Commission should take impartial action, why did Congress make this demand?

Congress on Thursday accused Prime Minister Narendra Modi of giving hate speech in poll-bound Rajasthan. The party also urged the Election Commission to take action against him. The Congress alleged that the Prime Minister appealed to the voters to press the ‘Lotus’ button as if he was giving ‘death sentence’ to the Congress. Congress leader Jairam Ramesh referred to the Prime Minister’s speech given in Barmer on Wednesday and said that the people of the state will definitely respond to this ‘arrogance’ of the Prime Minister.

The public will answer for arrogance
Ramesh said in a post on social media platform ‘X’, ‘When destruction falls on Manuj, Vivek dies first.’ Ramesh alleged, Prime Minister Modi’s hatred towards Congress leaders can be easily gauged from his statements. How can a person holding a responsible position like the Prime Minister talk to the people about hanging them through voting? The Prime Minister is strangulating democracy. The Congress leader demanded that this was a clear example of hate speech. If the Election Commission is serious about fair and free elections then they should take immediate cognizance of this and take strict action. He also said in his post that the public will definitely respond to this arrogance of Prime Minister Modi in the elections.

As if you were hanging them

While addressing an election rally in Barmer, Rajasthan, Modi had said that you have got the opportunity to punish them. Press the button with lotus symbol to ensure their punishment. Press the buttons on the lotus symbol as if you are hanging them. Lotus is the election symbol of BJP.

Elections will be held on 25th November
The Prime Minister said that in the last five years, people in the state have not been able to celebrate any festival peacefully. He said that sometimes there are riots, sometimes there is stone pelting and there is curfew. This has been the picture of Congress in the last five years. Therefore, it is necessary to remove Congress from here.” Congress is trying to form its government again in Rajasthan, while BJP is using all its strength to remove it from the state.
