Uttarakhand: CM Dhami took stock of the Silkyara Tunnel rescue operation, offered prayers at the temple of Boukhnag and wished for the safe rescue of the workers.

Chief Minister Pushkar Singh Dhami took stock of the Silkyara Tunnel Rescue Operation in Silkyara, Uttarkashi on Tuesday. He offered prayers at the temple of Baba Boukhnag located at the entrance of the tunnel and wished for the safe rescue of all the workers.

Chief Minister Pushkar Singh Dhami received information regarding the manual digging work going on in the tunnel. He said that the safety of the workers going into the pipe for digging work should also be taken care of. He talked to the workers doing manual digging and encouraged them and praised the work of all the workers engaged in relief and rescue work.

Chief Minister Pushkar Singh Dhami directed the officials to ensure the well-being of the workers trapped inside and to continuously talk to the doctors, psychiatrists and family members of the workers trapped inside.

Chief Minister Pushkar Singh Dhami, while giving a press briefing at the media center in Silkyara, said that all the labor engineers and specialist officers are engaged in every possible effort with full dedication and hard work. He said that till now a total of 52 meter pipe has been pushed. He said that the health of all the workers trapped inside is safe. All the people engaged in relief and rescue work are working with full energy and positive spirit.

Chief Minister Pushkar Singh Dhami is continuously monitoring the rescue operation from the temporary CM Camp Office, Matali. This morning he reached Silkyara Tunnel from Matali to inquire about the well-being of the workers.
