Kidney does not clean the blood… This ace cricketer is a victim of a fatal disease, expressed his pain

Australian all-rounder Cameron Green revealed that he was suffering from ‘Irreversible Chronic Kidney Disease’ when he was born. This slim Australian all-rounder said that at one time he was not expected to live more than 12 years. He said that this disease has no symptoms and the kidney cannot be cured. Green told ‘Channel 7’, ‘When I was born, my parents were told that I had ‘irreversible chronic kidney disease’ which has no symptoms but was detected through ultrasound.’

What is chronic kidney disease and what is the danger?
He said, ‘Chronic kidney disease keeps increasing. Unfortunately, my kidney does not clean the blood like the kidneys of other people.’ This 24 year old player is an important member of the Australian cricket team. Green said his kidney function is currently at 60 percent, which is in stage two and requires transplant or dialysis in stage five. He said, ‘I am currently in the second stage of the disease but if you do not take good care, this level will go down further. Kidneys may not be fine. This cannot be fixed. So you try to find ways to slow down the progression of the disease.

There was a fear of death at the age of 12
Green’s mother Tarsi was diagnosed with the disease during a scan at 19 weeks of pregnancy. Green’s father Gary said, ‘Not much was known about it at that time. Then he was not expected to live more than 12 years.’ Fast bowling all-rounder Green made his debut for Australia in 2020 and has since played 24 Tests, 23 ODIs and eight T20 Internationals. He said that due to this disease his cricket career has also been affected as he gets muscle strain very easily.

Protein and excess salt are fatal for Cameron Green
He said, ‘I have to keep my salt and protein low, which is not an ideal situation as a cricketer, but when there are matches, I start taking a little more protein because I spend a lot of energy on the field. You just have to find the right way to take care of yourself.
