Will a son kill his mother just because she did not give Rs 5,000 when the son asked for it? This may not be easily accepted by anyone but this incident is true. The incident came to light when the accused killer’s son packed his mother’s dead body in a suitcase and came to Sangam in Prayagraj on the pretext. The accused son from Haryana first came to Ghaziabad carrying his mother’s dead body in a suitcase and then reached Prayagraj. He was roaming here and there to immerse the dead body in the Sangam at midnight, during which the patrolling police interrogated him and searched the suit case. As soon as the suitcase was opened, the police were shocked and the entire incident came to light. The police sent the body for post-mortem and arrested the accused son.

Went with mother to sister’s in-laws house

The murderer caught by the police is 20 year old Himanshu, a resident of Gopalganj, Bihar. He had gone to Hisar, Haryana’s sister’s house with his mother Pratima Devi. On December 13, Himanshu asked for Rs 5,000 from his mother. When she refused, Himanshu strangled his mother to death and kept the body in a suitcase and came to Ghaziabad before the train. Then took another train and came to Prayagraj. At midnight Himanshu reached Sangam with a suitcase. Here in the Sangam he wanted to immerse the dead body. But due to police checking he could not succeed in his plans.

The accused was roaming around in a suspicious condition with a suitcase

Police said that the young man was roaming in a suspicious condition with a suitcase near Prayagraj Sangam. The police stopped the young man and interrogated him, on which he told that he wanted to float the mother’s body along with the suitcase in the Sangam of Prayagraj so that no one could know that he had murdered the mother.

Police sent the body for postmortem

DCP City Deepak Bhukar has informed about the incident that the accused youth has been caught during police patrolling. After being caught, Himanshu narrated the entire incident to the police. After getting the investigation done by the forensic team, the police has sent the body for post-mortem. The accused youth is being interrogated further about the incident.
