A horrific train accident occurred in China on Friday. Two metro trains collided with each other in China’s capital Beijing, injuring hundreds of people. It is being told that this accident happened due to heavy snowfall.

515 people injured in train accident
Beijing Municipal Transport Commission said that 515 people were injured in this accident. He said that the injured have been admitted to the hospital. Officials said that due to slipping on the tracks, the train had to apply emergency brakes and the train coming from the other side came in front and both of them collided. Officials said that this incident happened on Thursday night.

Injured were sent to hospital
Chinese officials said that 515 injured people were sent to the hospital in this accident, of which 102 people were seriously injured. Of these, 423 people have been discharged from the hospital after treatment. At the same time, 25 people have been kept under the observation of doctors and 67 people are admitted in various hospitals.

Passengers shared their pain
A passenger told Chinese newspaper The Economic Observer that the vehicle’s lights went out at the time of the accident and that he felt a sudden shock before the lights went out. The passenger said that some people had fallen and the glass was broken. There were reports of several passengers being seriously injured, including head and eye injuries.

Team formed for investigation
Chinese Foreign Ministry spokesman Mao Ning said that after the accident it was being confirmed whether any foreign nationals were involved. An investigation team has been formed for this incident.
