The incident is reported to have taken place on Thursday when a bull was seen running on the train tracks of Newark Penn Station. There is no information about anyone being injured in the incident. On receiving information that the bull was on the railway track, the police reached the spot and caught it by noon.
Train passengers and many local people have shared several video clips of the bull running on the tracks on social media. “Their train had slowed down and when we asked why the train was slowing down, the conductor pointed at the bull,” a passenger named Jason Monticelli told ABC News. He further said, “It seemed as if you were walking on the track. “We were just trying to figure out where it came from.”
The governor of New Jersey posted a video of the rare incident on Hey friends.” Video of the incident showed that the bull ran across the train tracks and headed towards an airport ahead, although police caught him behind a building near Frelinghuysen Avenue, Victoria Street.
According to the information received, the police currently locked the bull in a fenced enclosure. Newark Penn Public Safety Director Fritz Frese told the news agency that the bull will be cared for by a local animal sanctuary.
