Uttarakhand: Committee constituted for land law will give recommendations to the government on determining the standards of original residence certificate, CM gave instructions

Mainly this high level committee was formed to take action on the recommendations of the Land Law Committee constituted earlier. But on December 23, Chief Minister Pushkar Singh Dhami has given instructions that along with the land law, now this high level committee will submit its recommendations to the government on determining the standards regarding issuing domicile certificate. In fact, many social organizations have called for a statewide rally regarding the Domicile Certificate, information about which has been spreading through social media for the last several days. Even before that, Chief Minister Pushkar Singh Dhami has taken a decision in this regard.
CM Dhami said that for him the interest of the state is paramount. The people of the state had dreamed of Uttarakhand state and are continuously making efforts to fulfill it. The state government stands with the issue of land law or domicile certificate related to the state interest of the people of the state. In view of this, a committee has been formed under the chairmanship of the Additional Chief Secretary to discuss at a large level and submit the report to the state government. Other senior officers have also been included as members in this committee. Which will determine the format for implementing land law and the standards for issuing domicile certificate.
Chief Minister Pushkar Singh Dhami said that the committee formed earlier had taken suggestions from interested parties, various organizations and institutions of the state. On which, after deep brainstorming and discussion, a report of about 80 pages was prepared. Along with this, the committee had also examined the details of land purchase approvals given so far in the state from all the District Magistrates of the state. Therefore, all those points have been included in the recommendation given by the committee, which will increase investment for development in the state so that employment opportunities also increase. However, the committee has also recommended to prevent unnecessary misuse of land.
