Uttar Pradesh: Youth sets himself on fire in Unnao SP office, was upset due to lack of hearing… condition critical

On Wednesday afternoon, a youth poured kerosene on himself and set himself on fire inside the SP office in Unnao district of Uttar Pradesh. As soon as the young man set himself on fire, the policemen present at the spot saved the young man and sent him to the district hospital for treatment. Since the condition of the youth is critical, he has been referred to KGMC, Lucknow for better treatment. The family members of the youth who committed suicide have made serious allegations against the Unnao Police.
According to the information, Srichandra Pasi, resident of Bhule Mau village, was having a dispute with some people of the same village. Due to the dispute, there was a fight, in which a case was also filed. The victim’s brother alleges that he was pleading for justice, and even made several visits to the authorities.
Police is helping the accused
The victim’s brother alleges that the police was continuously harassing him and in the case that was written, CO Purva had also removed the names of three people. The brother also alleged that the police was helping the accused. He alleged that the police had instead filed a case against his family.
The victim’s family alleges that the police was in collusion with the opponents in this case and was not arresting the accused. Due to no hearing, the victim was forced to take this step.
Appealed several times for justice
The victim’s brother also alleged that the CO took unilateral action in the assault case. When he did not get justice even after applying several times, his brother became sad and reached the SP office, poured inflammable substance on himself and set himself on fire. There was chaos after the incident.
The condition of the victim is critical
It is said that when this incident took place, ASP Akhilesh Singh and Co City Ashutosh Kumar were sitting in their office. Told that first he was sent to the district hospital for treatment and then he was referred to Lucknow. At the same time, in the matter of registering a case against the criminals, the police said that arrests could not have been made under the sections under which the case was registered.
