Gaza’s ‘Laden’ escapes again, Yahya Sinwar not found where he was

Israel has achieved a major success. The IDF said on Friday that its troops had discovered a secret apartment of Hamas terrorist Yahya Sinwar in northern Gaza. There is a large tunnel system beneath it, which was demolished. The IDF claims that it is constantly getting closer to Yahya Sinwar. However, the Hamas leader is still away from capture. The 14th Armored Brigade on Friday discovered hideout apartments on the outskirts of Gaza City. Later during its investigation a tunnel shaft was found.

The IDF said it had found significant evidence in the apartment, leading to the conclusion that Sinwar was using it as a hideout. The tunnel shaft was about 20 meters deep. The tunnel was divided into several branches, whose length was 218 meters. The underground tunnel contained air filters, pipelines, rest and prayer rooms and other equipment. All these arrangements were made so that Hamas terrorists could hide in these bills for a long time.

Army approaching Sinwar
Sinwar issued his public statement for the first time since the October 7 attack on Israel. It told about the achievements of Hamas. Before Sinwar’s statement, Israeli Defense Minister Yoav Galant issued a fresh threat. He had said that Sinwar would soon be in front of our guns. On December 18, a report came from the Israeli media. It said that in recent days the army had managed to reach two tunnels where Sinwar was hiding just before reaching them.

Israel had captured Sinwar
On December 14, a senior Biden administration official told reporters that it could be said that Sinwar’s days are numbered. Sinwar Khan is believed to be hiding in Yunis since the start of the war. In 1989, he was sentenced to four life terms by Israel for planning the kidnapping and murder of two Israeli soldiers. However, after 22 years, Sinwar was released during a prisoner exchange. He is the mastermind of the October 7 attack.
