Uttarakhand: BJP termed the comments of Congress leaders on the announcement of Rajya Sabha candidate as frustration

BJP has termed the comments of Congress leaders on the announcement of Rajya Sabha candidate as unrestrained and their frustration. State spokesperson Suresh Joshi retorted and said, after the formation of the state, Congress has sent 3-3 outside leaders from here to Rajya Sabha and now their in-charge has reached the stage of finding a Lok Sabha candidate.
Answering the questions of journalists at the party headquarters, Joshi said, Congress leaders are clearly seeing defeat in the upcoming Lok Sabha elections, which is why they are raising baseless questions on the Rajya Sabha candidature of state president Mahendra Bhatt. He said sarcastically, BJP has decided to send its experienced, hard-working, fighting and popular leader to Rajya Sabha, but Congress has always been short of leaders, which has imported Raj Babbar, Satish Sharma, Satyavrat Chaturvedi not once but thrice from outside states. Worked on sending leaders to Rajya Sabha.
He said, now the condition of Congress is so bad that its state in-charge has to find not only the candidate for the Lok Sabha elections but a leader who is ready to fight. Because all the Congressmen of the state know that this time it is difficult to save the deposit on all the five Lok Sabha seats. This is the reason why no big leader is coming forward for the Lok Sabha elections, in fact many have publicly refused to contest the elections. This is the reason why Congress leaders are making unrestrained statements out of frustration.
