Uttarakhand: Preparations for Lok Sabha elections begin, Chief Electoral Officer Dr. B.V.R.C. Purushottam said Inspector General ITBP. Meeting with Sanjay Gunjyal
Chief Electoral Officer Dr. B.V.R.C. Purushottam informed the Inspector General ITBP regarding the preparations for conducting the Lok Sabha General Elections 2024 in a free, fair and transparent manner. Had a meeting with Sanjay Gunjyal.
Chief Electoral Officer Dr. Purushottam appointed I.G. ITBP. Requested to prepare force deployment plan and make available forces within stipulated time limit. He said that security forces and their families should also be encouraged to vote 100 percent. For this, a request was made to update the voter list etc. of security forces as soon as possible.
On this occasion I.G. Sanjay Gunjyal said that all necessary preparations have been completed for the Lok Sabha general elections 2024. Gave assurance for successful conduct of Lok Sabha elections by the security forces. He requested for updating the voting list at the border gate Dehradun for 100 percent voting and organizing a camp for identity cards etc.
On this occasion I.G. Nilesh Bharne, Additional Chief Electoral Officer Vijay Kumar Jogdande and Assistant Chief Electoral Officer Mastu Das and other senior officers were present.
