The bus carrying people from the bride’s side coming for the wedding at Bhairo temple near Mahahardham temple in Mardah area of ​​Ghazipur caught fire after touching a high tension wire and the bus burst into flames. There is a possibility of burning of all the people traveling in the bus. The DM has announced Rs 5 lakh for the dependent of the deceased.

The marriage of the girl, a resident of Kheriyan Khaja of Ranipur area of ​​Mau, was fixed in Mahmoodpur village of Muhammadabad in the district. The marriage was to take place at Bhairo Temple near Mahahardham. People from the girl’s side were coming to Bhairo temple from Mau. The bus was stopped at the barrier near Mahahardham temple.

The bride got down from the bus and went to the temple on foot. After this, the bus driver took the bus through the canal track and started taking it to the temple. Meanwhile, the bus touched the 11 thousand volt high tension wire hanging on the road. After this the bus started burning. Six of the people on board the bus have been officially confirmed dead. Ten injured people have been sent to the hospital. By the time the power supply was switched off the bus was completely burnt. The people traveling in it could not be identified.

Relatives have been called. DM Aryaka Akhauri, SP Omveer Singh, block chief Pati Dharmendra Singh reached the spot along with the police force. The crowd started pelting stones. Many people including BJP leader Ashutosh Choubey have been injured in this. The fire incident was so horrific that people could not muster the courage to extinguish it.
