However, this time farmers are reaching Delhi without tractors. On the alert of the intelligence agency, rail, metro and other means of public transport are on the police radar. Haryana, Punjab, Delhi, UP and Rajasthan Police are taking extra vigilance.

Handling farmers is a big task

Sources say that this time it is a big task for the police to handle the farmers. The reason is, they are not coming to Delhi by tractor. Thousands of farmers of Haryana-Punjab are standing at Shambhu and Khanauri border. From there a large number of farmers have left for Delhi. It is being said that farmers from Rajasthan and Madhya Pradesh are also reaching Delhi. Farmers have been asked to reach Jantar Mantar in Delhi via public transport buses, rail and metro. Farmers have also arranged for personal transport, such as cars, jeeps and small buses, to reach Delhi. In such a situation, it is a big challenge for the police to stop the farmers from reaching Jantar Mantar. Although the police have not officially said that they are stopping the farmers from reaching Jantar Mantar, but Section 144 has been imposed there. No one is allowed to demonstrate.

Security increased at PM and Home Minister residence

Such intelligence alerts have also come to light that farmers may create ruckus after entering Delhi. They can protest in front of the Prime Minister’s residence, the Union Home Minister’s residence and the houses of other VVIPs. Passengers may have to face problems at many metro stations in New Delhi. In such a situation, Haryana, Punjab, Delhi, UP and Rajasthan police have been alerted to ensure that a large number of farmers do not come towards Delhi. For this, checking is being increased in railways, metro and public transport buses. It has been asked to thoroughly check private vehicles. Although farmers organizations had earlier called for reaching Delhi on March 6, but later it was said that farmers from different parts of the country are leaving for Delhi, hence it would be difficult for them to reach Jantar Mantar on March 6. Is. It may take three-four days for them to reach there.

The situation will be clear by Sunday

Sarwan Singh Pandher, an official of ‘Punjab Kisan Mazdoor Sangharsh Samiti’, said, earlier it was announced that farmers from all the states would participate in Delhi on March 6. Later he said, it is not possible for farmers from all the states to reach Delhi by March 6. Because, it will take many days for them to reach Delhi. The situation in this regard will become clear by March 10. In view of the farmers’ march to Delhi, the police and central forces have been alerted. Special surveillance is being done on the border adjoining the national capital. Places have been identified around the border where farmers can stay.

Kisan Mahapanchayat will be held on March 14

Apart from this, police are also deployed at possible places of stay of farmers within Delhi. In view of security arrangements, Section 144 has been imposed at many places in Delhi. No one will be allowed to demonstrate. Additional police forces have been deployed at railways, metro stations and bus stands. On March 14, the United Kisan Morcha has called a Kisan Mahapanchayat at Ramlila Maidan. It has been said on behalf of farmer organizations that farmers will not bring tractors to the Mahapanchayat. They will reach the Mahapanchayat only through public transport.
