‘The doll is haunted by a girl…’, woman buys ‘Haunted Doll’, makes horrifying claim
There are many things in the world which have been declared cursed. These also include toys. Many stories like Papi Gudiya or Khooni Gudiya are also popular on them. The Annabelle doll is so popular that an entire film has been made on it. In such a situation, whenever people see a strange doll, they start getting scared of it as if there is a ghost on it. A doll kept in a charity shop in Edinburgh also came into discussion recently. Now a woman has bought it.
Unexplained: Caught on Camera star Deborah Davis has included this in her collection of so-called ‘haunted dolls’. In total, Deborah bought it for £220 from St Columba’s Hospice charity shop in Morningside. Deborah said- ‘I will have 24/7 CCTV cameras which will keep an eye on the doll and although my collection is a few miles away but for now I will keep it at my home.’
The doll went viral earlier this week when charity shop staff were found hanging a sign reading ‘I’m not scary’ along with the doll. In fact, people nearby were calling it scary and claiming that the eyes of this doll were haunting.
Deborah told Sky News – ‘After buying it, when I took it out and looked at the feet and everything else, I thought that they looked like human feet. It had small shoes, which were quite scary, and it had white marks on its nails. This was a doll made of rubberized plastic.
After sharing her photos with the doll, Deborah said that she was told that the doll might be possessed by a spirit. He further said, ‘Since Edinburgh is one of the scariest places in Britain with its rich history and this doll has caused sleepless nights to people, I think there really is a spirit attached to it. I personally feel that the spirit associated with this doll is that of a girl who looked similar to this doll. I think this is the age-old soul of that area.
Shop owner Simone said she was so happy the doll finally found a new home, and thanked the reality TV star. She said- ‘She will go to a good home because Deborah apparently collects dolls.’
