In Jalaun, Uttar Pradesh, a bride, who came to her in-laws’ house after leaving her marriage, did such a thing on the day of her wedding night that her family was shocked. Actually, the bride ran away with the cash and gold jewelery kept in the house. This incident happened on the first night of the marriage. The groom kept waiting for the bride in the room for the wedding night, but the bride left the house with cash and jewellery. At present, the victim has filed a complaint with the police pleading for justice. Also demanded to get money and jewellery.
According to the information, a mother in Jalaun town was worried about her son’s marriage. Then the middlemen contacted him and asked him to get his son married by taking 70 thousand rupees. The mother agreed to the talks of the middlemen, after which the middlemen arranged his marriage with Pooja, a resident of Gorakhpur.

Last week, Pooja came to Jalaun and got married to the boy (Aman) as per Hindu customs in a temple. After the marriage, the bride (Pooja) reached her in-laws’ house where the groom happily welcomed her. All the rituals after the wedding took place. Then when night came, the groom (Aman) was waiting for the wedding night. But just a few hours after the marriage, the bride ran away with the Suralwalas’ jewellery, cash etc.
Saraswati, mother of the victim boy (groom) told that Lakhan Singh and Charan Singh bring girls from outside and get them married. He had also talked to both the people about getting his son married, in return for which they had taken Rs 70 thousand.
Saraswati said that both of them (Lakhan Singh and Charan Singh) were in collusion in eloping with the girl. He had arranged for the bride in advance and had given her money. They have a stake in the cash and jewelery that was looted after the marriage. On his instructions the bride dodged and ran away in the night.
In this matter, Inspector Vimlesh Kumar Singh, in-charge of Jalaun police station, said that the matter has come to his notice. On the complaint, both the people who got married were called to the police station and the matter is being investigated. Further legal proceedings are underway.
