Bomb blast in Syrian city near Turkish border, 8 killed, more than 20 injured
Once again there is a massive bomb threat in Syria. The bomb blast took place in a major market in the northern Syrian city captured by pro-Turkish forces. Eight people died and more than 20 others were injured in the incident that took place on Sunday morning. After the explosion in the market, there was chaos and people were seen screaming and crying in disbelief. Information about the bomb blast has been given by a war monitor present on the spot.
The death toll may increase
The Syrian Observatory for Human Rights said a car bomb exploded in the middle of a famous market in Azaz, Aleppo province. Eight people died and more than 20 were injured in the blast. It is being told that the death toll may increase further. The Britain-based observatory has a complete network inside Syria. Information has been given by the Observatory that many ambulances and rescue workers were present at the explosion site.
Islamic State had captured
It should also be mentioned here that since 2013, a large-scale civil war had broken out in Syria. Islamic State had captured a large part of this place. However, by 2019, the Islamic State was defeated in Syria. Despite this, reports of attacks and bomb blasts continue to emerge from time to time in many parts of Syria.
Israel’s accusation
Israel also alleges that Syria provides support and land to Iran’s fighters against it. Israel has carried out hundreds of strikes targeting government-held positions in Syria in recent years. However, Israel never accepts the attack.
