Reason for murder
At the behest of the accused, a murder knife, scooter and mobile phone of the deceased have been recovered from Adauli Canal. During interrogation, it was revealed that accused Rishabh used to work at the public service center of deceased Rajeev Garg. Deceased Rajeev had a debt of Rs 80 thousand and had not even received his salary for a few months.
He had asked Rajiv for his money many times but he used to postpone it by saying that he would give it in two-four days. About one and a half months ago, there was an argument between the two regarding this very matter. He was upset and extremely angry about this matter. Also, Rishabh came to know that Rajiv has a ‘miraculous coin’, about which he had heard from Rajiv himself. To get this coin and being fed up with Rajeev’s behaviour, Rishabh took a dreadful step.
According to the police, the murder accused had a superstition that with the help of this coin the weather could be changed and it could also rain. Not only this, your desired wish can also be fulfilled. Due to this greed, Rishabh along with his friend Tanu made a plan to kill Rajiv.
First he dealt with one, then cleverly killed the other one too
The SSP further said that on May 31, when Rajeev had not come to his public service center, Rishabh had called a tea vendor located at Adauli Tirahe from his mobile phone and called him to the public service center. When Rajiv started going on the scooter with some documents, Rishabh also sat on the scooter saying that he also had some work on the way.
As per the plan, Rishabh took Rajiv to Adauli Canal, where on the way, he made his friend Tanu, who was already present on the canal, also sit on the scooter and after going some distance, both of them attacked Rajiv with a knife from behind due to which the scooter went out of control and fell. . Then they killed Rajiv by slitting his throat.
After that, Rishabh took the scooty of the deceased to the shop and took Rajiv’s uncle Sudhir Aggarwal with him after telling him that Rajiv had met with an accident and murdered him too. Accused Rishabh also withdrew Rs 5000 from the ATM of deceased Rajeev and after the murder, the murder knife, scooter and phone were thrown into the canal, which have been recovered.
