Situation worsened after army took power in Myanmar

This has raised concerns in India about the possible impact on the security of Manipur and Mizoram. On the news of kidnapping of three Indians, Jaiswal said, ‘Our embassy is aware of the matter. They are working on it and hopefully we will be successful in getting them out.
