‘Fake Shiv Sena people talk about burying me alive, they say Modi is your grave…’, PM said in Maharashtra

Amidst the Lok Sabha elections, Prime Minister Narendra Modi addressed a huge rally in Nandurbar, Maharashtra on Friday. During this, along with Congress, Shiv Sena (UBT) was also fiercely targeted. He said that fake Shiv Sena people talk about burying me alive.

PM Modi further said, ‘These people are saying that Modi’s grave will be dug. They are speaking this language for appeasement. They are dreaming that they will bury Modi in the ground. Their political ground has slipped. They do not know that the mothers and sisters of the country will protect Modi.

I grew up in poverty: PM Modi

The Prime Minister further said, ‘Maha Aghadi (MVA) is running a massive campaign of cannibalization of reservation. At the same time, Modi is doing Maharakshan Mahayagya to save the reservation of SC-ST-OBC. I do not come from a big family like the royal family of Congress. I grew up in poverty. I know how much trouble you have suffered here. There were mountains of difficulties in your life too. Many tribal families did not have permanent houses. Even after 60 years of independence, electricity did not reach the villages.

‘4 crore permanent houses given in 10 years’

PM Modi further said, ‘Modi had pledged that every poor, every tribal will be provided a house, water will be provided to every tribal’s house, water facility will be provided to every family, electricity facility will be provided to every village. We provided permanent houses to about 1.25 lakh poor people of Nandurbar under PM Awas Yojana. In the last 10 years, we have given 4 crore pucca houses and in the third term we will give 3 crore more houses.

‘This is a trailer, there is still a lot to do’

Enumerating the benefits of the schemes of the BJP-led Modi government at the Centre, PM Modi said, ‘The NDA government has provided water to every household in more than 20 thousand villages of Maharashtra. This also includes 111 villages of Nandurbar. Right now this is a trailer, Modi still has a lot to do and he has to do it for you.
