Chief Secretary Mrs. Radha Raturi held a meeting regarding preparations for security and other necessary arrangements during the proposed visit of Hon. Vice President to Nainital and Udham Singh Nagar on 30th May. CS Mrs. Radha Raturi has directed Commissioner Kumaon Division, Deputy Inspector General of Police, Kumaon Zone, District Magistrate, Senior Superintendent of Police Nainital and Udham Singh Nagar to make all the arrangements as per the instructions given by the Vice President Secretariat on the proposed program during the visit of Hon. Vice President. Along with this, the Chief Secretary has directed for tight security arrangements at the airport/helipad and the program venue during the proposed program of Hon. Vice President. Regarding the communication system, he has instructed that BSNL should arrange for hot line, Wi-Fi connection as per the standards at the airport/helipad and the event venue in coordination with NIC. CS has also instructed for necessary repairs of the road from the airport/helipad to the event venue, uninterrupted power supply, water supply etc.

Director General of Police Abhinav Kumar, Principal Secretary RK Sudhanshu, Secretary Dilip Jawalkar along with other concerned officers and District Magistrate and Senior Superintendent of Police Nainital and Udham Singh Nagar were present through virtual medium in the meeting.
