Pakistan’s Khyber Pakhtunkhwa province shook with a massive IED explosion, 4 soldiers were blown to pieces

Pakistan’s troubled northwestern region has once again been rocked by IED blasts. At least four army personnel were killed and three others injured in an IED blast in Khyber Pakhtunkhwa province. The injured have been admitted to a hospital. The blast was so powerful that the glass panes of the windows of nearby houses shattered. The loud sound of the blast spread panic in the entire area. Police gave this information on Saturday.

It is being told that this incident happened late Friday evening when security forces were patrolling in Sara Bangla and Tarkhanan areas of Khyber Pakhtunkhwa province of the country. During this time, they suddenly came under the grip of an IED blast. Police said that at least four Pakistani army personnel were killed and three others were injured in the IED blast. The injured have been admitted to a hospital and are being treated.

Security forces were sent to the blast area after the incident. Police cordoned off the entire area. A search operation has been launched to nab the culprits involved in the blast. Police said, “The deceased jawans have been identified as Zubair, Ejaz, Faisal and Asif. While the injured have been identified as Qadir, Najeeb and Rehman. No group has claimed responsibility for the blast yet. Terrorist incidents and such blasts often occur in this province of Pakistan. Pakistan suspects that it was a terrorist attack.
