Uttarakhand: The authorized copy of the Khatauni should be made available online, CM Dhami gave instructions

During the review meeting of the Revenue Department in the Secretariat, CM Dhami instructed the officials to ensure that people do not need to go to the tehsil for the authorized copy of the Khatauni. Along with this, the CM directed that the proceedings of the mutation of land should be completed within the stipulated time period.
There is no need to go to the tehsil for the copy of the Khatauni
CM Dhami held a meeting on Monday and instructed the officials that people do not need to go to the tehsil for the authorized copy of the Khatauni. He said that for this, by arranging the prescribed fee through online medium, arrangements should be made to provide online authorized copy of Khatauni by July 15.
The Chief Minister said that hearing should be made mandatory in the revenue courts two days a week. If a magistrate is unable to sit in the court on the date due to any reason, then it will be necessary for him to clearly mention it in the court diary.
The proceedings of mutation of land should be completed within the stipulated time period
Chief Minister Dhami gave strict instructions that the proceedings of mutation of land should be completed within the stipulated time period. He directed the Garhwal and Kumaon Commissioners to regularly review the settlement of cases of Dakhal Kharij and Revenue Courts. Along with this, he directed that the services being provided under the Right to Service under the ‘Apunni Sarkar Portal’ should be provided to the people within the stipulated time period. Responsibility of the officers who are negligent in this should be fixed.
Revenue Department services should be linked to the portal
The Chief Minister said that as many services of the Revenue Department as possible should be linked to the ‘Apunni Sarkar Portal’. Arrangements for sitting, drinking water and other basic facilities should be made for the people coming to the tehsils. The Chief Minister has also directed the Garhwal and Kumaon Commissioners and District Magistrates to inspect various arrangements of the tehsils from time to time.
The Chief Minister directed to expedite the process of updating the Khatauni revision and preparing a new database of the account holders and co-account holders recorded in the Khatauni. He directed to conduct a survey of the entire land recorded in the revenue records soon using modern methods.
