Uttarakhand: The priests of Kedarnath Dham calmed down after getting assurance from CM

The protest against the construction of the symbolic temple of Kedarnath Dham being built in Burari, Delhi has stopped. After the assurance of CM Pushkar Singh Dhami, the Tirtha Purohit, Sadhu Saints and traders have postponed the agitation. Rajkumar Tiwari, President of Kedarnath Tirtha Purohit Samaj, met the Chief Minister of the state Pushkar Singh Dhami, in which the agitation was ended in Kedarnath Dham on Tuesday after the assurance given by the CM.
In fact, after the foundation stone laying of Kedarnath Dham temple in Burari, Delhi on July 10, anger had grown from Kedarghati to Kedarnath Dham. Demonstrations were being held at various places in Kedarghati. At the same time, Tirtha-Purohit Samaj, Sadhu-Saints and traders staged a sit-in protest in Kedarnath Dham. The Tirtha Purohit Samaj was repeatedly demanding a denial in the matter from CM Dhami. Along with this, a delegation of Tirtha Purohit Samaj also met CM Dhami.
The delegation put forward the importance of Kedarnath Dham in front of Dhami and said that the importance of the temple of Kedarnath Dham established by Shankaracharya will end if it is built somewhere else. In such a situation, ending the importance of Kedarnath Dham is against tradition.
CM Dhami assured the Tirtha Purohits that there will be no temple in the name of Kedarnath in Delhi. If this is done then action will be taken. After getting assurance from CM Dhami, Tirtha Purohit Samaj, Sadhu-Saints and traders gathered at Kedarnath Dham on the fourth day of the protest on Tuesday.
On this occasion, former President of Kedar Sabha Vinod Shukla said that talks have been held with CM Dhami regarding the symbolic temple of Kedarnath Dham. As per the assurance received from him, a temple named Kedarnath will not be built in Delhi.
He said that after getting assurance from the CM, the Tirtha Purohit Samaj has postponed its agitation. If action is taken again for the construction of Kedarnath temple in Delhi, then the Tirtha Purohit community will again be forced to protest.
