Truth and Reality

There was a ruckus in India over writing names on shops, while in Pakistan barbers flatly refused to cut the hair of Hindus

The issue of writing the names of shop owners on the Kanwar route in western UP is quite hot at this time. Opposition leaders called it spreading hatred against the minority community. It is being linked especially to Muslims, but meanwhile a news has come from Pakistan, where Hindus are seen from a different perspective. Muslim barbers do not cut their hair, they are known to go to Hindu barbers only. A video of this is also going viral. Pritam Das is a YouTuber from Pakistan. He has described the condition of Hindus in Pakistan on a channel named Blogger Das. He tells in the video that when he went to the barber shop and told his identity as a Hindu, he was refused to cut his hair. One barber even said that if he cuts hair, he will have to throw away his belongings.

He went to many shops, got the same answer

Pritam Das claimed in the video that he first went to some Muslim barber shop in Sadiqabad area in Punjab province. There he tried to get his hair cut by telling his identity as a Hindu, but he straightaway refused him. When he asks him the reason for this, the barber says that he does not like cutting the hair of Hindus. He says that Hindus do not read Namaaz, do not recite Kalma. When Pritam asks where he should get his hair cut, the shopkeeper tells him to go to a Hindu barber shop. From here Pritam reaches another Muslim barber and asks him to cut his hair. After knowing that he is a Hindu, he also refuses, while there is not a single customer in the shop. When asked the reason, he says that he does not like cutting the hair of Hindus.

If you cut the hair of a Hindu, I will throw away my stuff

The barber sitting at a shop goes to the extent of saying that if he cuts the hair of a Hindu by mistake, he will throw away his stuff. He does not even let Hindus touch his glass. After visiting many shops, Pritam Das finally goes to a Hindu barber shop, where many Hindus were getting their hair cut. The barber tells him that he only cuts the hair of Hindus here, no Muslim comes here to get his hair cut.
