Uttarakhand: Now there will be new security arrangements in Badrinath and Kedarnath Dham, approval received from the government

Badri Kedar Temple Committee has made arrangements for a separate security cadre for the security of Badrinath and Kedarnath Dham. Badri Kedar Temple Committee will deploy a DSP rank officer from paramilitary forces on deputation and under him 57 outsourced security personnel will be deployed for the security of the temple and its treasury.
The Uttarakhand government has approved the proposal of Badrinath-Kedarnath Temple Committee i.e. Badri Kedar Temple Committee, in which the temple committee had demanded a separate security cadre. Orders in this regard have been issued by the Culture and Religious Affairs Secretary Harichandra Semwal of the Uttarakhand government. At the same time, Badri Kedar Temple Committee President Ajendra Ajay has expressed his gratitude to the Uttarakhand government for this.
Badri Kedar Temple Committee President Ajendra Ajay said that the head of the BKTC security cadre will be the post of Chief Temple Security Officer and he will be an officer of DSP rank of police. Who will be kept on deputation basis from civil police, central armed forces or paramilitary forces. Two posts of temple security officers have been created below the Chief Temple Security Officer, who will be Inspector rank officers from the police and below them there will be four Deputy Temple Security Officers of Sub Inspector rank. All these posts will be filled by deputation from the government. Apart from this, 10 Chief Temple Guards and 40 Temple Guards will be appointed through outsourcing. Apart from this, the government has also created a post of Assistant Programmer in BKTC for the IT cadre. Appointment will be made on this on fixed honorarium.
BKTC President Ajendra Ajay has expressed his gratitude to Chief Minister Pushkar Singh Dhami for the creation of posts in the security cadre and IT cadre. He said that with BKTC having its own security cadre, the darshan system in the temples can be further streamlined. Apart from Badrinath and Kedarnath, security personnel will also be deployed in other subordinate temples. With the creation of posts in the IT cadre, information technology will be used more and more in various systems. Transparency in work will increase due to the use of e-office, online services.
