Uttarakhand: The 21st State Level Approval and Monitoring Committee meeting of the Urban Development Department was held under the chairmanship of Chief Secretary Radha Raturi

Regarding giving priority to the beneficiaries of sanitation workers, Anganwadi workers, building and other construction workers, PM-Swanidhi, PM Vishwakarma under Pradhan Mantri Awas Yojana (Urban) 2.0, Chief Secretary Radha Raturi has directed to complete the demand survey soon for the selection of the said special focus group beneficiaries as well as all other beneficiaries. Along with this, the Chief Secretary has directed to prepare the list soon by including new cities under PMAY-U 2.0. He said that the cities which could not be included under PMAY-U should be kept in the list of PMAY-U 2.0. CS Raturi has directed to complete the work on housing policy in accordance with PMAY-U 2.0 as soon as possible.

While chairing the 21st State Level Approval and Monitoring Committee meeting of the Urban Development Department in the Secretariat, Chief Secretary Radha Raturi reviewed the Pradhan Mantri Awas Yojana (Urban) extended from the year 2015 to 2022 and till 31 December 2024 and directed to promptly complete the various works to be done under Pradhan Mantri Awas Yojana (Urban) 2.0 to be implemented from the year 2024 to 2029. She also agreed to various agenda points of SLSMC. Chief Secretary Radha Raturi has directed to arrange training and workshops at ATI Nainital for the Capacity Building Plan in accordance with the Pradhan Mantri Awas Yojana (Urban). Secretary Nitesh Kumar Jha along with officials of Urban Development Department and Finance Department were present in the meeting.
