Uttarakhand: Dhami gave a gift of 173 crores to Haldwani, distributed compensation amount to the affected people of Jamrani Dam project, inaugurated stadium and cancer hospital

Chief Minister Pushkar Singh Dhami reached Haldwani today and inaugurated and laid the foundation stone of 18 schemes worth Rs 173 crore. Also distributed the permissible compensation amount to the affected people of the Jamrani Dam project. Apart from this, the inauguration of City Forest and the inauguration and foundation stone laying of the city’s mini stadium including Cancer Hospital were also done.

Drinking water facility in Haldwani from Jamrani Dam

Chief Minister Pushkar Singh Dhami said that with the blessings of Prime Minister Narendra Modi, the much-awaited Jamrani Dam project has got the green signal and the Jamrani Dam project will be ready by 2029, but by 2050 the people of Haldwani and Terai Bhabar will start getting water facilities. Continuous efforts are being made for the all-round development of the state and to make Uttarakhand a leading state under the leadership of Prime Minister Modi. He said that the Jamrani Dam project was stuck since 1972, but with the efforts of Prime Minister Narendra Modi, now the scheme is going to land on the ground.

The state will get electricity from the Jamrani Dam project

With the construction of the Jamrani Dam project, the people of Terai Bhabar will not face any problem of drinking water and irrigation. Not only this, after the construction of this project, electricity will also be produced, due to which the state will get ample electricity. He said that the families coming to the Jamrani Dam area are being rehabilitated in Parag Farm of Udham Singh Nagar by giving them compensation amount.
